Membership
In 2023, we expanded our studio, opening up opportunities for studio members to work on their own at any time, even with classes going on.
We have some availability for hobby potters to join us as studio members. We ask any interested potters to first get to know our members and check out our working space. To help us get to know if our space is suitable for your needs, we do ask that people take a class or attend a series of walk-in sessions. Because we are a co-op, it is important that people feel comfortable working in a group.
We currently have two different levels of membership.
Working Member (Tier 1) – $75 a month
Working members are required to help with teaching and studio operations like loading/unloading the kiln, mixing glazes, recycling clay, extra cleaning and studio maintenance. Firing fees are not including in the monthly cost and are determined based on the number and size of your pieces in relation to the total firing cost.
- 25lb of clay per month. Additional clay is available for purchase.
- Glazes.
- Tools.
- Storage space for personal tools and other supplies
Non Working Member (Tier 2) – $175 a month
Non-working members have no extra obligations at the studio aside from cleaning their working space before they leave the studio for the day. Firing fees are not including in the monthly cost and are determined based on the number and size of your pieces in relation to the total firing cost.
- 25lb of clay per month. Additional clay is available for purchase.
